The Everest

After you are done with the fancy restaurents and even KFC & Dominoes. And you are looking for a change of place.
Might I suggest this place in Pahar Ganj. Well, to begin with, you might as well like to keep your complains about the dirt & noisy streets to yourself. I believe it's kind of shady place( with a pause... Hell Yes! It is)

The Restaurant
Hotel EVEREST lies somewhere in Pahar Ganj amidst the busy streets with the Vendors & Shop-Keepers shouting at the peak & with the their utmost attempt to attract the customers. I came here with a friend of mine who suggested me this place. And this place with all your "Good Friends" could be no less than the perfect place in the SLIM SHADY world(Read India). What brings you here for the second visit is the ambiance & the crowd( which is more or less the foreigners).

When you enter, straight ahead is the Owner, a lady, who for some reason always finds a reason to SMILE. Nonetheless, its very welcoming. And the Homo-Sapien in the photo is not the Lady but one of the few happy & contented at finding the place customer. What caught me was the talks & gossips in their own dialects. You don't understand it but you somehow eavesdrop like you know what they are talking about.
A Happy Customer

The restaurant provides you with the international food in a good price. And I should not really be advertising this part of information but, do hell with that. Those of you who Smoke-Up, this is a place for you, with love Delhi. You can come with your Pot Gang here, eat the good food & the best deal is that, "No One Really Cares". The place also has a mini library, mostly on the topics of travel.
The Mini Library

And if I have convinced you enough to go Eat & Smoke & Drink there, do let me know about your experience. Just for a tip, You should know how to create your own set of fun, Coz the place only gives you the platform. Don't be or get sad with the staffs dressing style. How much would you expect out of a guy who gets only about Rs1500-3000 a month.

Untitled

She Landed Down,
To Find Hope, Trust, Love

She walked down the dusty & rusty Road
Her Feet Hearing Every Shout and Cry
That the earth absorbed in her mourning history of timeless pain

A Man walked passed by her,
with his Gorgeous Smile,

What is a Smile that doesn't reach your eye?

She was in a World,
That had..
No Hope
No Trust
No Love

Beautiful Faces, but Ugly Hearts

The Red Rose

There will come a point

When it'll be too much for them to take.

The Protectors will do the least they can do,

letting the rest on them to survive.

With all the ache & agony, intolerance, evil

They will squelch the Govt.

Will be called Anti-Govt.

Will Be called THE NEW AGE TERRORIST...

A flower was made RE
D by the God

Only to be Honoured
To Be appreciated for it's Beauty
Making the World more colourful
Bringing the Joys and Happiness to the Eye & Heart

Not to be seen as a deviant flower

and Pluck the Petal of it

Now the Flower Bears the thorns.....
that'll cut you through....

Start Of A New Picture

So, Hello Everyone.

I understand writing is the only means of me linking my inner-self to others. That would continue on my here

My other Blog, http://toriqphoto.blogspot.com/, I have decided to blog through photo's.

How it Began?
..20 years before or ago, my Dad bought this camera. He took most memorable picture that even when I look at them today, I can feel them laugh, talk, Sometimes anger. Since childhood, somewhere within me I had this passion for photography. I clicked random things at the age of 6, which my father appreciated(I have to thank him. Because I know most of them where not good. It was a waste of Film but for a father, his children work is the best). I have no professional training of photography. But I wish to carry this passion ahead. So, 20 years later, the prized possession is passed on, The Camera comes to me. Its not a a digital camera, but SLR Film Camera by Minalto. I wish, like my Dad, to capture moments, which will smile when I look at them after 30-40 years later.

Like any old photo, this camera rested behind our old cupboard for 5-6 years. It needs repairing. I am going to name it, CHE, for some stupid reason. It's going to take some time to wake up from his long resting years and be my merry partner to roam about with me.

Why photo blog?
..I know how it exactly feels to not be able to express yourself, be it by writing it down or having to speak to someone. I find it hard to express. When I do, I feel there is this Big wall, that I am struggling with, when I cross over it, I will be able to let you know or feel what i feel. Fewer times, I am able to cross the wall, but most times, I don't. So, like that, there are many things you see, you think about it, draw a theory about it. Analyse it. Understand it and if there is someone, you want to share how you felt. That's a difficult part. Because, All of us are the same, except our perception changes everything that makes us different from one another.

So, I decide to click photo that make me think and maybe it would to you too. Hopefully You would enjoy it too. and all that said above doesn't make any sense, i know, because I have read it all again, and it doesn't make sense when I think from others point of view, but then again, I hope you just enjoy it.

Thank You

Tell Me All Your Problem

So, You Are Sitting There In The Corner with all the Question inside your head. It's You Against Yourself.

Take a Deep Breathe. Nothing in this world can be done alone. We need someone or anyone despite how ignorant you are about how much it could help you or how you just thought I CAN DO IT ALL ALONE. It's just not like how you though, that NO ONE WOULD UNDERSTAND YOU. It's this big world with more than Zillion Population. It's unlikely that there wouldn't be anyone who felt the same way like you did. Hey! Mahatma Gandhi was a great man. But his followers, his helping hand, were even greater. Martin Luther King had big bright dream of a better world. Well, He wouldn't be what he was or what he achieved without the help of anonymous helper. The History might not remember their name, but Does of these great people who are the Building on their foundation of Help

It's the Mathematics of life, 'There's just ain't a problem without a Solution. And if you aren't getting any solution, you maybe doing it wrong way". So, you take a help from someone who has done the problem before, He/She help you. See that? It's Simple. But It would require, like I Said, HELP.

This ain't a note for someone whom I wouldn't mention. It's about Me. and It was me against against myself. As Sober I may look on the out, I go way opposite to it within me, that is unknown to the outside world. When, I am writing this, It's not about helping you to get to know me better. Its about knowing your flaws and accepting it. To let you know, I needed someone to talk like maybe you need now, but you have been hiding it...

So, Have you moved away from the corner and talked? Because, sometimes, A Small Little Talk Helps, No matter how Big the problem is

Finding Ways

some old song that were kept untouched and unheard
seems to have found it 's purpose

Every moment now seems like A dream and LIFE SEEMS BEAUTIFUL.
Every drop has gathered to form an ocean when you knocked into my life
You drank up all the sorrows from my life
When you just asked me to smile with that Smile on your face
Now my days Shine
and my heart Glow

Take A Balloon and Smile :)

"So, Take a Deep Breathe. Relax. Sit Back. and Hear a story. A Simple One........"

I don't really know if one of you have actually had conversation with yourself or not. Well, I did, and I usually do. And as Sober as I seem on the out, I am as confused and messed up with many questions inside.

So, yesterday, After getting back from a Date, this guy whom I had a Day-Out with Bought me a dozen of Balloon. And somehow thinking of it, I should have asked him to Drop me back, but my 2nd mind insisted, "Topsy! Take the damn Metro!"

"Phatak"!! and everyone's eye on me. I have not yet mastered the facial expression to keep when you are embarrassed and want to give that Stern Looks. So, I am standing with 11 Balloons(Thank God! At-least the thing that embarrass me helps me cover my face!). And, I have to tell you, never underestimate the GLARING and STARING ability of an Indian crowd. To my surprise they were still staring at me post 20 minute of the Burst(Such thing make me wonder, AM I HOT?).

Still Staring....

35 minutes

Still Staring...Bonus: Smiles on their face(I am not going to complain about Racism, because, Life would actually start getting boring without stories to tell your friends on what happened and how annoying that or this guy was or how hot or how not hot that guy was!)

40 Minutes

Some eyes have moved past me and caught some other Victim, but Hey! I still have fans. I have managed 4-5 eyes.

So, I am standing in VishwaVidyalaya Station for the next Train with the Staring process on. I man Up-roaches me. To Describe. this man looked like someone who was miser about smile. He has a stern look that made you think twice before smiling. And if you accidentally did, He, with his puffed muscle would smash you Dark Black and blue.

"How much are you selling them for?, he inquired
Well, When I am amazed, I hell do let the person know that I am amazed. I looked at him. To be precise, I X-Ray Him.

"How much are you selling them for?", he asked again but with heavier voice to ensure I heard him this time. I replied, "aaa...errr....hmmm....(That went for next 10-15 seconds)...ahem..I don't sell them", finally building myself back from thinking too much. "But If You Want One, i could give you. It's okay. You needn't pay me". He Looked at me for a while, and said, "Okay! Yellow one please".

He was Happy with that. His face clearly showed it. Just that he was smiling hesitatingly. The rest is yours to pre-assume why he smiled. To many, "He was probably a Gay. No wonder he took YELLOW" or to other, "Maybe he had a daughter or a son!"....and to few, who believe life is all about small, un-noticed moments that you rush passed by, would accept it as a moment that was of his own. Something as small as the balloon had that key that could bring about 1 minute true smile to his face...

Finding Happiness in smallest of thing" is what I believe in.
